DEDOLIGHT: 10 MINUTE SET-UP

DEDOLIGHT: 10 MINUTE SET-UP

So we're here today to film or record the voice over for a musical comedy for a school. We have soft lights umbrellas, mostly dedolight: the DLED3, DLED2, two of the DLED7 lights.

We are also using dedolight Lightstream reflectors in order to get a minimum of equipment to move and a maximum of beauty light on the subjects that we're filming.

I have a DLED2 with an intensifier and this is multiplying my light by seven times. The light is directed on to a reflector number one, creating an effect pretty much like a gobo, to create a sort of French window reflected and showing the shadow of the singers on the wall.

It is interesting to use the dedolight Lightstream technology not only to light, but also as props in the set, to make the shooting interesting.

This whole setup took me 10 minutes to put in place. I'm very happy with working with this kind of light because it's controllable to a maximum; you can really get everything you want in very simple motions, and that's what dedolight is all about.
