dedolight Eflect is now a mature product and an established part of the dedolight Lightstream range. These are bendable multi-mirrored reflectors, designed to reflect patterns onto a background or subject, or both at the same time.
Available in sizes from 7x10cm to 80x80cm, the patterns created by dedolight Eflect can be used for miniatures all the way to the largest studio. Combined with dedolight focussing lights and dedolight parallel beam intensifiers, the intensity of the patterns can be bright and intense, regardless of room or studio size.

"What attracted me to using the Eflect system is the ability to be creative with the lighting and manipulate it in a way which kind of coincides with the natural world. With a few tools weve been able to create some very beautiful vivid colours and patterns."

By gently moving the dedolight Eflect reflectors, nudging the light stand, or by moving the light shining into the reflector, this creates realistic moving patterns across subject and background. The results can be subtle or intense."

"I think the technology of reflected light, especially the way that dedolight does it, gives the illusion that the source is much further away. You know it's not a direct source. When you direct a source at a subject it becomes very saucy and fake in a way. With reflecting light especially with Eflect and the other mirror systems that Dedo provides, it creates that illusion that the source is much further away giving more naturalistic and realistic tones."
