Cinematographer, Ian Murray, discusses his lighting philosophy and how he has developed his style and technique over 2 decades of working with different technologies.

Ian is now working with the dedolight Lightstream system, using reflected light for much of the work he does. This enables the cinematographer freedom from many of the constraints of traditional lighting. Lightstream requires less equipment, less power, less cabling, and allows for quick setup and easy changes to lighting on-set. These factors, in combination with the unique character of light which Lightstream provides, makes Lightstream unique for the filmmaking process.

Ian tells of his experiences with traditional lighting systems and how he now uses Lightstream for much of the work he does. This is backed up examples and footage, showing Lightstream in action and the results which are achieved.
